Brunei Hall

Assalamualaikum and Hi everyone!

Just a gentle reminder for those who are coming down to London this winter holiday, especially for the WG:

As you all might have experienced from the previous years, Brunei Hall’s vacancies are always lacking to accomodate each and everyone of us due to its availability of rooms and space.

Brunei Hall can only accomodate 137 transits, and priority are given to A-level students

There is no booking system available, so it works by first come-fist served basis

Alternatively, you are advised to inquire your London-based friends whether you can stay at their place for the time being

And lastly, we would like to emphasise that Brunei Hall is ONLY for Bruneian students in the UK and Europe. Hence, those visiting Bruneians (non-UK/Europe-based-students) are not allowed to stay in Brunei Hall.

So, please do make sure you have a place to stay for your trip before getting to London, cause you don’t want to be dragging your bags from door to door in this icy cold weather!

On behalf of Brunei Hall, we would like to apologise for this inconvenience and wish you good luck in planning your stay in London.

Merujuk perkara yang tersebut di atas, sukacita dimaklumkan bahawa Majlis tersebut akan diadakan pada:

• Hari Rabu, 07 Disember 2011
• Bertempat di Brunei Hall
• Jam: 6.00 petang

Sehubungan dengan itu, penuntut-penuntut yang berada di London adalah di undang untuk sama-sama hadir di majlis tersebut.

Dialog ini adalah mengenai peranan belia di dalam kemajuan negara, perkembangan semasa aktiviti-aktiviti belia di NBD dan di UK, dan juga masalah-masalah yang dihadapi oleh para belia.

Kehadiran para penuntut-penuntut adalah sangat dharapkan dan dialu-alukan

BruWick Debate Competition

Assalamualaikum and Hi everyone,

BruWick is going to host a debate competition this coming January, 2012.

It’s going to be a 3-stage competition: Preliminary, Semi Final and Finals.

- Preliminary will take place at 4 different regions:
o Midland (to be hosted by BRUWICK)
o London
o Southern UK
o Northern UK

- The preliminary date is the: 21st January 2012/ 27 Safar 1433

This message goes to both societies whom are interested to collaborate with BruWick to hold the preliminary rounds in other regions, and also for people to are thinking about forming teams, whether you are representing a particular society or just amongst your friends – all are welcome!

For the Societies

To hold this debate:

- At least 2 different rooms at the same location is needed [with WIFI connection], and

- Budget will be allocated to each hosting society for light refreshments.
