Like any aspiring teenager, Daniel often dreams of studying abroad, and hopes to someday help his widowed mother run the family business. This became a reality when he received a letter from his dream college, granting him a spot in the prestigious Imperial College. The excited Daniel then sets off for the UK. Little did he know of the trials and tribulations that awaited him in the big world; a world of lies, deception, seduction, and ultimately, betrayal. Will he persevere and stand by his beliefs? Or will his faith and his goals waver? Will his will be so strong as to overcome every obstacle thrusted upon him?

Mengkhatamkan Al-Quran

Assalamualaikum,

Sesi mengkhatamkn alquran tahun 2010 akan dieruskan setiap hari jumaat, pukul 7.00 malam, bertempat di surau Brunei hall. Pelajar-pelajar yang amat berminat adalah digalakkan mengikuti sesi ini.

Pelajar-pelajar luar London yang sukar mengikuti sesi minguaan ini bolehlah menghabiskan bacaan mereka secara sendirian di tempat belajar masing-masing. Disamping itu, pelajar-pelajar hendaklah memberi nama penuh mereka samada kepada:

Rasid (religious.secretary [at] bsunion.org) atau
Ustaz Haji Raminey (ro [at] upp.org.uk) dengan segera.

Majlis Khatam Alquran akan diadakan pada 14 March 2010 bersamaan dengan 27 Rabiulawal 1431.

Untuk meriahkan lagi suasana Majlis Khatam Alquran ini, perserta perempuan bolehlah memakai Baju Kurong dan tudong berwarna hijau atau kurang lebih sama seperti hijau sebagai pakaian seragam. Pakaian bagi perserta lelaki adalah Baju cara Melayu (warna apa saja), Songkok dan Blazer.

Semoga segala urusan dan perkerjaan kita dirahmati oleh Allah. Amin.

UPP – Kem Ibadah

Message from the UPP

The UPP will be holding Kem Ibadah in February 2010. The event is headed by Ustaz Ramanee. The AJK’s (Ahli Jawatankuasa) will be the same as those from the previous year. The event is open to all students. Our theme this year is “Membina Pelajar-Pelajar Bertaqwa”

Most of you would ask, what are the activities? Well, here are some of last year’s ones:- Icebreaking (as usual)

- Mentelaah Sejarah Islam
- Perbincangan tentang Tanggungjawab sebagai individu Islam
- Ceramah dari Ustaz Haji Raminey

This year, we will dicuss (insyaAllah) topics like; Hakikat Manusia, Hidup untuk Memberi, Islam yang Menyeluruh, Kisah Sahabat-Sahabat and loads more…
