BruWick Debate Competition

Assalamualaikum and Hi everyone,

BruWick is going to host a debate competition this coming January, 2012.

It’s going to be a 3-stage competition: Preliminary, Semi Final and Finals.

- Preliminary will take place at 4 different regions:
o Midland (to be hosted by BRUWICK)
o London
o Southern UK
o Northern UK

- The preliminary date is the: 21st January 2012/ 27 Safar 1433

This message goes to both societies whom are interested to collaborate with BruWick to hold the preliminary rounds in other regions, and also for people to are thinking about forming teams, whether you are representing a particular society or just amongst your friends – all are welcome!

For the Societies

To hold this debate:

- At least 2 different rooms at the same location is needed [with WIFI connection], and

- Budget will be allocated to each hosting society for light refreshments.

BruLeics Fashion Show Competition

As you may have heard, the BruLeics Society are organizing a Fashion Show Competition this weekend!

Details are as below:

Date: 3rd December 2011
Venue: Queens Hall (O2 Academy 2), University of Leicester
Doors open: 12.30pm
Dress code: Smart / Casual smart / Traditional / Dress up!

Tickets: £3 for pre-ordered tickets from afm14[at]le.ac.uk, £4 on the door
