Winter Games 2009 – Badminton Poll
The Council is thinking of running a Badminton Tournament at this years Winter Games (sometime in December). We are currently running a short poll to gauge interest among BSUnion members for the sport.
Poll closes on the end of Wednesday 2009 (28th October 2009).

Does this mean A Level students can join? Will there be any categories? such as mixed doubles and stuff…and age categories as well?
There are no restrictions on A’level students. At this point in time, the categories are male singles, female singles and mixed doubles.
Can we join two categories, say women’s single and mixed doubles?

Badminton players are free to join two different categories.
Tentaively, the Winter Games is scheduled for the 19/20th of December 2009. Expect a confirmation of the dates early next week.
When are we going to get the dates of the winter games confirmed? i think this is the second week since the question was asked.
Hi, we just had the venues confirmed. So the games will be the 19th/20th od December. Registration forms should be available by this Friday.
when can we submit the registration form for badminton and when will d forms be out?
This is pretty late, but ive got something to ask about mix double… this might sound stupid, but by mix do you mean two players must be of different genders or can they be of the same gender ?
Mixed doubles refers to different genders, but the BSUnion has also just opened up registration to Men’s doubles if you are interested.
